A quantitative research approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured teaching program (STP) on knowledge regarding cervical cancer among 30women aged 40-45 years in Ayodhyapuram Coimbatore. Data were collected using a structured knowledge questionnaire on cervical cancer. The results revealed that the mean pretest knowledge score was 7.6, while the mean posttest knowledge score was 16. The significant mean difference of 8.4 (p<0.001) indicates that the STP was effective in enhancing the women’s knowledge about cervical cancer.
