Menopause, a natural transition in an woman’s life, it is often accompanied by significant physiological and psychological changes due to declining Estrogen and Progesterone levels, which can negatively impact quality of life (QOL). This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of health-promoting strategies in improving QOL among menopausal women. A quasi-experimental study was conducted in Thumbacode and Marappadi villages in Kulasekharam, involving 60 menopausal women selected through convenience sampling and divided into experimental and control groups. The intervention for the experimental group included information, education, and communication (IEC) sessions, dietary modifications, and exercise training. The MENQOL questionnaire was used to assess QOL before and after the intervention. Statistical analyses revealed significant improvements in the experimental group (p < 0.005), whereas comparison of post-test results between experimental and control group revealed significant improvements in quality of life (p < 0.005). These findings demonstrate that healthpromoting strategies significantly enhance QOL among menopausal women, supporting the use of non-pharmacological interventions in routine care.
