Abstract

Fetal movement counting is a method used to assess the fetal well-being and helps the mother to be reassured of the health of the fetus. Probably, 99% of women who have given birth to a healthy baby say that it is important to feel the baby's movements every day. When the fetal movement is reduced, they are worried and visit the doctor or health care provider for further evaluations. Women with less fetal movements, there is the risk of complications such as fetal growth restriction and stillbirth. Most of the women find changes in fetal movements, its intensity and frequency.
