The main aim of the study was used to assess the effectiveness of deep breathing exercise on reduction of menopausal symptoms among menopausal women. Through convenient sampling technique, 40 menopausal women were selected. Demographic variables were collected by using a structured interview schedule and their pretest level of menopausal symptoms was assessed by the modified North American Menopause Society [NAMS] menopausal questioners. In experimental group the post test mean and SD score was 8.25 ± 1.97 and in the control group the post test mean and SD score was 25.45 ± 5.33. The calculated ‘t ’value of 13.54 which was greater than the tabulated value at P < 0.0001. the study concluded that the deep breathing exercise had significant effect in reduction of menopausal symptoms among menopausal women.
