Abstract

A Quantitative, pre experimental study was conducted to assess the Effectiveness of pelvic bridge exercise on dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Madurai. 60 girls were selected by purposive sampling. one group pretest and posttest design was adopted. Intervention was Pelvic bridge exercise, daily 2 times a day for 6 days per week up to next menstrual period. standardized questionnaire and Numerical pain scale was used to assess the level of pain. The mean difference between pretest and posttest was 4.97 (49.7%), p=0.001***. It was Statistically proved that Pelvic bridge exercise significantly reduced the level of dysmenorrhea among the Adolescent girls.
