Antenatal care on pregnant mothers during covid-19 pandemic

Antenatal care services have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic despite the factthat pregnant women were placed in the 'vulnerable group'. The risk of pregnant women contracting COVID-19 means that carefulsurveillance of their health is needed. Prevention and control of COVID-19 infectionamong pregnant women and the potential risk of vertical transmission have become amajor concern. Clinical manifestations of Corona virus infection in pregnant females are not different from general population. Best antenatal care is needed for all pregnant mothers whether suspected or infected. Antenatal care with adequate infection prevention control measures and social distancing seems to reduce the risk of COVID- 19 and also necessary to have frequent, routine health care visits which leads to have safe pregnancy.
