Abstract

Febrile seizures occur in young healthy children who have normal development and haven't had any neurological symptoms before. A quantitative non experimental descriptive research design was used to correlate EEG Positivity among Children with Febrile Seizures. 100 participants were selected through Nonprobability sampling technique from children with febrile seizures in paediatric ward, Govt. Rajaji Hospital. A structured questionnaire was used as tool. There was a positive correlation between EEG positivity and febrile seizure, frequent respiratory infection and febrile seizures (t = 5.37, r = 0.44) (t = 4.26, r = 0.35) with high temperature (t = 4.19, r = 0.49). There was a significant correlation between EEG positivity among children with febrile seizures.
