Assessment on exclusive breast feeding practices among lactating mothers

A quantitative research approach with descriptive survey research design was used to conduct the study among 40 mothers at Sri Gokulam Hospital, Salem using Purposive Sampling technique. Semi Structured Questionnaire was used to collect the data. Mothers who delivered within 6 months before the period of data collection were included in the study. Google forms were used to assess the Lactating Mothers on Exclusive Breast feeding. Lactating mothers had Moderately Good on Exclusive Breast Feeding Practices. Mean score on Exclusive Breast Feeding Practices was 6.7 ± 1.64 and mean percentage was 55.83%.
