Assessment on knowledge regarding risk factors on coronary artery disease among adolescent students

A quantitative research approach with survey research design was used to conduct the study among 100 adolescent students, at Sri Vidhya Mandir college of Arts and Science, Salem, using purposive sampling technique. Structured Questionnaire was used to collect the data. Majority 72% of Students had moderate knowledge, 18% of students had inadequate knowledge and only 10% of students had adequate knowledge on risk factors of CAD. There were no significant association found between the selected demographic variables among adolescents with their knowledge on risk factors of CAD at P<0.05 level.
