Effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding road safety measures among B.sc nursing first year students

Accident is one of the leading causes of death among adolescents. In this study pre experimental one group pre test post test design was used. The participants were 30 students selected by using convenient sampling technique. Demographic data were collected and structured questionnaire were used to assess the pre test and post test knowledge on road safety measures. Video assisted teaching programme on road safety measures was administered to the students. The statistical analysis revealed that there was significant difference in the post test knowledge after the intervention (t value = 19.73). The study concluded that video assisted teaching programme improves the knowledge on road safety measures.
