A case report on baby with aqueduct steonosis, obstructive hydrocephalus and developmental delay

Baby Amudhan, 8 months male boy was taken to Govt. Children Hospital for developmental delay. Further evaluation led him to a diagnosis of Aqueduct Stenosis and underwent Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy at a private hospital. After a week, he developed oozing and swelling on the surgical site. The baby under went right ventriculo peritoneal shunt. This case study elaborates the health status and the journey of an 8 months old child beginning from prenatal issues to the recent health status.
