Abstract

Child to child approach is an effective way to empower children with skills, knowledge and attitude to reach out to other children. This study was to assess the effect of child-to-child approach on knowledge, practice regarding respiratory hygiene, and cough etiquette among school age children. The study was conducted in the school among 60 students between the age of 11-14 years, were selected using simple random sampling technique. Quantitative Pre Experimental - one group pre-test post-test design was adopted, Self-administered questionnaire and checklist were used, which revealed that the child-to-child approach was effective in improving the knowledge and practice of school children.
