Abstract

The study is aimed to assess the effect of selected coping strategies on the level of stress and coping behaviour among nursing students. Quantitative research approach, Quasi-Experimental one group pre-test post-test design was used, data collected in July- August 2022. Sixty students were selected using simple random sampling technique. In pre-test, 80% had moderate stress, with mean and SD 59.75±8.06. In post-test, 66.7% had moderate stress with mean, standard deviation 51.40±7.68. In pre-test, 78.3% had moderate coping with mean and SD is 110.02±12.63, post-test, 70% had moderate coping with mean, standard deviation 127.67±18.66. Therefore, coping strategies were effective among students during covid-19 pandemic.
