A Quasi experimental design (pre test - post test with control group) with Non probability Purposive sampling technique was adopted. During pre-test, experimental group 29(96.6%) children had moderate impairment, whereas control group 29(96.6%) had moderate impairment. In experimental group, the mean pre-test score was 41.46±4.36 where as the mean post-test score was 37.9±3.18 with a mean difference of 3.56. The calculated paired ‘t’ value 4.89 was significantly higher than the table value 2.05 at p≤0.05. It shows that sensory stimulation technique was effective in improving the sensory perceptual ability among children with ASD. Hence the research hypothesis H1 was retained
