Children are vulnerable to bad touch of their body parts. The researcher used pre experimental one-group pre-test research design to identify the effectiveness of VAT among 30 school children selected by convenient sampling technique. Structured questionnaire was used to assess the level of knowledge. VAT program was administered. In pre-test the majority of 30 (100%) of them had moderate knowledge, where as in post- test 28 (93.34%) of them had adequate knowledge and 2 (6.66%) of them had moderate knowledge and the calculated t=15.052 value was statistically significant at p=0.001. The study concluded that the VAT program was effective among schoolchildren in improving knowledge on good touch and bad touch.
