Abstract

Reproductive health is a crucial part of general health and central features of human development.The current study assessed the effectiveness teaching programme on Sexual and Reproductive health among adolescent girls in rural areas of Kancheepuram district. A pre experimental study was adopted among 30 adolescent girls, using non-probability convenient sampling, the structured teaching programme on sexual and Reproductive health was administered to the adolescent girls. The statistical analysis revealed that, there was significant difference in the pre-testand post-test knowledge among adolescent girls. The study concluded that, structured teaching programme improves the knowledge on reproductive health among adolescent girls.
