Knowledge on Positive Parenting Among Working Mothers

Positive parenting is the parental behaviour based on the best interests of the child. It focuses on parenting practices that nurture the development of children's core internal strengths. Quantitative research approach and simple random sampling technique was used to collect data. Structured questionnaire was used and data collected through Interview method. Majority of the mothers had moderately adequate knowledge regarding positive parenting. The study concluded with delivery of health education which created awareness in enhancing and promoting positive parenting among mothers.
