Assessment of Health Related Quality of Life Among Hospitalized Children with Chronic Illness

Children with Chronic Illness face ongoing Health challenges that affect their physical, emotional, social and academic development. A Study was conducted to assess the health related quality on hospitalized children with chronic illness. 30 hospitalized children with chronic illness were selected for this study using convenient sampling technique. Quantitative research approach with descriptive design was adopted. Data were collected through structured interview using paediatric quality of life inventory. The findings revealed that, 6(20%) of them had good quality of life, 24(80%) of them had average quality of life and 0(0%) of them had poor quality of life.
