Abstract

A quasi-experimental posttest only control design study was used to assess effectiveness of distraction technique on level of pain perception during invasive immunization among children with the help of FLACC scale reading. Distraction technique was given forthe experimental group. There was a statistical significant decrease in level of pain perception among children receiving invasive immunization after distraction technique. The result of the study revealed that intervention is found to be very effective in reducing pain perception.
