Glycerine magnesium sulphate and cold application on superficial thrombophlebitis and child's behaviour towards IV therapy

Today in hospital setting, intravenous (IV) lines are used for monitoring pressures, administering drugs and fluids etc. This study was aimed to assess the effectiveness of Glycerine Magnesium Sulphate and cold application on superficial thrombophlebitis and child's behaviour towards IV therapy. The findings showed that there is a significant difference in the mean superficial thrombophlebitis score and child's behaviour towards IV therapy between experimental group I, II and control group.
