Abstract

The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of SIM on knowledge regarding selected learning disabilities of school children among teachers working in selected primary school, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The researcher adopted a pre-experimental one group pre test post test design. A standardized structured questionnaire as research tool was used for data collection after validating by the experts. The researcher used purposive sampling technique to select 180 primary school teachers. After the pre test self instructional module administered and post test was conducted after seven days. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that the pre test mean was 15.12 which increased to 26.41 in the post test and there was a significant association between the knowledge and demographic variables of the school teachers. The study concluded that SIM was significantly effective in increasing the knowledge regarding selected learning disabilities of school children among teachers working in selected primary school at Udaipur, Rajasthan.”
