A quantitative evaluative research approach with pre-experimental (one group pre test post test) design was conducted among 30 MR children between 6–12 years of age, selected by purposive sampling technique from CSI Balar Gnana Illam, Salem. During pretest, the mean score was 13.17 ± 3.5 which is 43.9%, whereas the post test score of age was 23.57 ± 4.8 which is 78.5% revealing a difference in mean percentage of 29.67%. Highly significant difference was found between pre and post test scores of dressing skill at P <0.001 level (t = 15.92**). The study implies that FCT on dressing skill among MR children is effective.
