Abstract

The traditional practices used during health and disease among infants from birth may cause a delay in the healing process or even death due to aggravation of the disease. This study had assessed the attitude and practice on traditional methods to treat infant illnesses among mothers of infants. Quantitative research approach with Descriptive Co-relational research design was adopted. Assessment of Attitude was carried out using rating scale and practice through checklist among sixty participants. The findings revealed that there was a moderately positive correlation ('r ’value = +0.02) between attitude and practice.
