Assessment of stress and coping among caregivers of children with adhd

Coping with stress is one of the biggest health concerns and its effect can be different from one person to another. The present study was an attempt to assess the stress and coping among 140 caregivers of children with ADHD by adopting Descriptive Research design. Care givers stress self assessment scale and brief cope inventory were utilized as tool. 64.3% of the caregivers had mild stress and 57.1% of the caregivers had moderate coping abilities. There was a statistically significant negative correlation between stress and coping among caregivers at 0.05 level of significance.
