Impact of intervention package on knowledge and attitude associated with child wellbeing among adolescents

Abstract

Nowadays the importance of maintaining wellbeing is decreasing among adolescents. Hence this study aimed to assess the impact of intervention package on knowledge and attitude associated with wellbeing among 150 adolescents by adopting quasi experimental pre-test post test control group design. In the experimental group the pre test mean score of knowledge was 102.53 with standard deviation 24.18 and the post test score was 152.38 with standard deviation 22.31. Also 40(53.33%) of them showed neutral attitude and 35(46.67%) of them showed non favorable attitude. The results revealed that the intervention package helped the adolescent children to gain knowledge and positive attitude regarding child wellbeing.
