A true experimental pre test and posttest control group design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of information booklet on knowledge and practice regarding sibling rivalry among sixty mothers of under five children, selected by simple random sampling. Pretest was conducted for both groups by structured knowledge and practice questionnaire. Information booklet was given to intervention group with adequate explanation and clarification of doubts regarding sibling rivalry for 5th consecutive days, the post test was conducted on the 15 day using the same questionnaire. The findings revealed that there is a significant difference between pre and post test level of knowledge and practice and the ' t' value was 38.73 & 30.98 which was significant at P<0.001. It was statistically proved that information booklet promotes the level of knowledge and practice regarding sibling rivalry among mothers.
