The article tries to focus on a debatable aspect of feminist studies, i.e., Marxist feminism. Attempt has been made to locate its origin and features, throwing lights to different interpretations, which are often contradictory in nature, regarding the concept. In the final section focus is concentrated on its recent significance, exploring a vital question- if Marxism is relevant for feminism at all?
