Online Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh: An Assessment

Due to the increasing need of online education and its accessibility to the youth in higher education, it is very important to check its status, because in the present era knowledge is being distributed through online education than the traditional education system. So in this Research paper it was tried to collect the awareness level about online education, its status and other related facts of it through interviews done with the young scholars in the selected fields. This paper is basically based on primary data collection and completed with the help of secondary data too. Objective of the present research paper is to study the new form of education, awareness of online education among young students and study the advantages and disadvantages related to online education. Study was empirical in nature and based on mainly primary data collected through field surveys. Besides, the study was analytical in its approach as it envisages reviewing critically the pertinent literature on higher education system, students and youth. The present study was based on quantitative technique. In order to analyze the view perceptions of youth students on the basis of statistical tools and techniques, descriptive research design has been adopted. Stratified simple random procedure for selection of students has been adopted.
