Abstract

The evolution of technology in education has dramatically transformed the teaching and learning process, enhancing accessibility, engagement, and effectiveness. Initially, educational technology was limited to basic audiovisual aids, such as overhead projectors and slide shows. Social workers aim to promote social justice and human rights by addressing issues such as poverty, mental health, and substance abuse (National Association of Social Workers [NASW], 2021). They employ a holistic approach, considering the individual within their environment, and utilize evidence-based practices to inform their interventions. Through social work education, students learn to critically analyze social issues, develop intervention strategies, and engage in culturally competent practice. The importance of social work education extends beyond individual competencies, as it also fosters a commitment to social justice and lifelong learning, ensuring that social workers remain responsive to evolving societal needs.
