To study the marital adjustment between married working women and housewives of Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)

The researcher’s objective in the present research to find out the marital adjustment between married working women and housewives. In today’s time establishing harmony and coordination in marital relationship is like a challenge. Married life does not always go well; there are many ups & downs especially in the life of women. In the present research researcher took 40 urban married women of Lucknow which were divided into two groups at the equal level (20 married working women and 20 housewives). Statistical analysis was done by ‘t’-test, to know the significant difference between two groups (married working women and housewives). In conclusion, the hypothesis was accepted, and significant difference was found in marital adjustment between married working women and housewives.
