This paper is an attempt to examine the privacy rights of LGBT people and the role of media. The role of media is very important in the promotion of human rights. But before 2004 media was projecting these people like anti social or like a danger to society. They were not being truthful or moral. The prejudices and feelings that most people entertain about the LGBT people are shaped in very powerful ways by the media, which can either reinforce stereotypical ideas or question. Media should not be judged, it is a work of the judiciary. Media is not above the law. In this article we have tried to explain that how right to privacy is important for LGBT and what they are expecting from the media.
