Abstract

Job satisfaction is positively correlated with performance at workplace. Variables like working conditions, social relationship and job itself effect the level of job satisfaction. Focus of this paper is to explore the level of job satisfaction amongst special educators of school for children with intellectual disability and school for children hearing and visual disability. All the special educators i.e 47 from both the schools were taken as sample for this study. The results indicated that there were significant difference in the job satisfaction of special educators of both schools. Job satisfaction was found to be lower among special educators of school for children with intellectually disability as compared to the special educators in school for children hearing and visual disability.
