Youth is the universal phenomenon. Generally, youth is defined in biological term i.e. age. Youth as a biological category that falls between childhood and adulthood. Youth constitutes an important section of any society. It occupies a central position in any social structure. It is a very vigorous and dynamic force. Its proper understanding and channelization may build a new society whereas its negligence may have devastating effects. Keeping in view the important role which the youth can play towards national development, WHO declared 1985 as International Youth Year.
