The grave threat entire globe is facing today is the disastrous condition of ecology and environment affecting sternly lives of human beings and destruction of bio-diversity. To address this delinquent issue there is an urgent need to adopt and implement multipronged strategies strictly at individual, social, economic, political level. Inculcating environmental values and ethics among citizens are significant in this direction. Environmental justice can be ensured by developing the practice of environmental citizenship. Nature nurtures us, so the conservation of natural resources should be the prime duty of all. The present paper analyses the environmental values and ethics as emphasized in the different spiritual discourses for the well -being of humanity.
