The Effect of Yogic Training and Physical Training on Cardio Respiratory Endurance

Abstract

This study examines, The Effect of yogic training on physical fitness variable, with reference to on Cardio respiratory endurance. Their written voluntary consent was obtained after clearly explaining the nature of the study. yogic training are sufficient to improve the physiological parameters. The sample of the study consists of twenty subjects of college boys, who were selected randomly. The age of all subjects was verified and they were divided in to two equal groups. The subjects were ranging from 18 -20 years. During training period, Group – I underwent Yogic Training, Group-II underwent to physical Training and Group-III acted as Control Group for the study. Cardio Respiratory Endurance was assessed by Cooper's 12 minute run/walk test. The results of the study show that there was a significant improvement on The Cardio Respiratory Endurance due to twelve weeks of Yogic Training programme.
