Abstract

The foods which are produced without involving modern synthetic inputs and do not contain genetically modified organisms are called Organic foods a resultant of organic farming in response to the Green Revolution in the 1940s. Organic food production is categorized as heavily regulated industry, but across the world it has created the demand pull market due to change in the lifestyle and awareness among the consumers. This case study is an attempt to study the overview of the Organic food Industry worldwide as a categorical glimpse as well as its analysis in terms of macro environmental factor. The effort has also been made to study the market efforts more valuable for consumers to be associated with this industry.
