Human Resource Management (HRM) is concerned with achieving high level performance in an organization by its human resources by continuously improving organizational culture and performance parameters. Human values are one of the important characteristics of organizational culture that help achieve desired performance standards. This paper reports findings of a study jointely carried out by visiting summer trainees from different business schools, at a knowledge-based public enterprise in energy sector with a view to analyse and rank a group of human values perceived important for adoption by HR professionals in enhancing the performance standards in the organization.
