Abstract

Changing employees attitude is a two-way process in which both management and the employees are equal partners. However, in reality it is very difficult to find the consensus between the management policies and the expected favourable attitude of the employees towards the organization. Keeping in mind the problems arising out of lack of positive attitude by the employees, a study is undertaken to identify relationship between the attitude and the HR processes in Lamina Suspension Products Limited, which is a leading leaf spring unit in Mangalore (Karnataka). Unless certain employees’ processes such as training and development, career advancement, participative decisionmaking are improvising, and the monetary standards are improvised by the management it may be inferred that the management is not interested in knowing attitude the employees have towards human processes. As the paper argues that there is a positive correlation between human processes and positive attitude of employees while framing the HR policies, individual should be consulted for developing happy and congenial work environment.
