This paper aims to map the Emotional Competencies of the Prominent Leaders from cross cultural, through biographical analysis of their lives, as this will give the real insight that how they were able or unable to manage their emotions in different phases of their lives and over the longer period of time. Further, the article brings out which leadership is more effective, the one who possess the Emotional Competencies or the one who lacks in Emotional Competencies. It shows the importance of Emotional Intelligence in Organizational Leadership, as the leader with high Emotional Intelligence will be able to achieve long term success in comparison with the one who is low in Emotional Intelligence.
