Providing a safe and healthy work environment is a pre-requisite for employee productivity. Social security, welfare and safety measures are the important components of ‘Protection’ and ‘Wellbeing’ of the workers at all the levels. It goes without saying that social security and safety measures provide quite a good measure of protection and wellbeing to the employees. The present study illustrates that Bosch Ltd has been prompt enough in keeping employees happy by providing protective and safety measures that promote social security and wellbeing among the employees. The social security and safety measures practiced at Bosch Ltd are non discriminative and free from gender and income bias. Protection and well being of the employees ought to be taken care of with all the seriousness by the organization so as to create a healthy, cheerful and productive workforce.
