Abstract

Biological spectrum of grasslands of Balrampur showed that out of the total 45 species, there were 29 Therophytes, 7 Geophytes, 5 Hemicryptophytes and 4 Chamaephytes. Phanerophytes were altogether absent. When compared with Raunkiaer's normal spectrum, the present study reveals a ‘Therogeophytic’ phytoclimate of the area.
