Abstract

Seeds of pigeon pea can be effectively protected from the pulse beetleCallosobruchus chinensis Linn. by mixing dried neem leaf powder (NLP) in a dose of 0.50 mg to 2 mg/50 gm seed. The most effective dose of NLP as pesticide is 2 mg/50 gm of pigeon pea seeds.
