Abstract

Field experiments were conducted at Nawabganj agriculture research station of Tarai region near Bareilly. Different doses of nitrogen gave significantly higher values of grain yield, Harvest index and total chlorophyll content in two varieties of rice (Pant-4 and Manhar) has been recorded upto a level of 120 Kg N/ha.
