Aurone Glycosides from Pterocarpus santalinus heart wood
Abstract
From the alcoholic extract of heart wood ofP. santalinus, 5,6-dihydroxy-3',4',5'–trimethoxy aurone 4,7-O-b -D-diglucoside and 6-hydroxy-5-methyl 3',4',5'–trimethoxy aurone 4-O-a-L-rhamnorpyranoside have been isolated and their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic analysis.
