Abstract

Callus proliferation occurred on cotyledon, leaf and stem explant cultured on Murashige and Skoog's medium (MS) supplemented with 2,4–0, ISA, NAA and SAP separately or in combination. In the beginning off white callus was observed which turned into light brown callus and was followed by formation of milky white callus. Sometimes green callus was also observed. Development of root from callus was also observed in 'h MS as well as in 'h MS supplemented with ISA, NAA and 2,4–0 used separately.
