Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at experimental farm of Bilwa in Bareilly, during the winter season (Rabi) of 2004–2005 to study the effect of micronutrients (ZnSO4, FeSO4 and MnSO4) on protein content and productivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum PBW-343) crop. Micronutrients treatments were given as basal application (ZnSO4–25Kg/ha, FeSO4– 25Kg/ha and MnSO4–10Kg/ha) and foliar application (ZnSO4–5Kg/ha, FeSO4–5Kg/ha and MnSO4–5Kg/ha). The application of micronutrients increased protein content and grain yield and basal application was better than foliar application.
