Abstract

Presoaked seeds of urdbean cultivars viz., PU-19 and PU-35 were treated with 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4% concentrations of EMS to find out variability in six quantitative traits viz., plant height, number of branches per plant, pods per plant, seeds per pod, seed weight and grain per plant. All traits showed reduction with an increase in concentration of mutagen.
