Abstract

Uttarakhand Himalaya is very rich in biodiversity and traditional knowledge. People of Uttarakhand Himalaya totally depend on surrounding natural resources like plant, plant products, animal products, minerals etc. for there basic needs like food, medicines, shelter, household goods, etc. Present investigation deals with the ethnic veterinary treatments of Bhotiya tribe of Johar valley at Pithoragarh district. Total 42 plants and plant products with their mode of application are documented.
