An ethno-medicinal plant survey was carried out in Chakarnagar block of Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh for herbal remedies of various ailments. The tribes routinely use 24 medicinal plants for the treatment of several diseases either singly or in combination with some other ingredients. The information on correct botanical identities with family in bracket, local name, part used and ethno-medicinal use of 24 plant species belonging of 17 families are discussed here for the treatment of various ailments.
