Abstract

The wider and repeated use of synthetic fungicides to control crop diseases due to fungal attack results in the accumulation of residue in the organisms and develop resistance in targeted fungal pathogens to the chemicals. Alternative to chemicals is the formulation of various eco-friendly products from antagonistic and mycorrhizal fungi which can be effectively used over larger area against crop diseases alone or in combination with different disease management strategies.
